Perrette Pradier

Perrette Pradier ; actually Perrette Marie Mathilde Chevau (born April 17, 1938 in Hanoi , French Indochina , † January 16, 2013 in Rueil-Malmaison , Hauts-de-Seine ) was a French actress who starred in numerous international films in the 1960s. Among other things in The Burning Court , Your Time is Up , or Every House of Cards is Broken .

Life

Perrette Pradier made her film debut in 1960 in Robert Hossein's Vis-à-vis and was best known a year later with the lead role in the crime thriller Affaire Nabob alongside Paul Guers and OE Hasse . She had her breakthrough as Constance Bonacieux in the two-parter The Three Musketeers at the side of Gérard Barray , in which she is stabbed by Mylène Demongeot at the end . Pradier had further success in the early 1960s with Julien Duvivier's thriller The Burning Court and agent films such as Eddie colt-right again , OSS 117 - Powder Keg Bahia and Our Man from Istanbul with Horst Buchholz . She also worked in the United States in John Guillermin's Every House of Cards Broken , but by the early 1970s her film career stagnated. Pradier was then often seen in films in the Au théâtre ce soir series.

She was an important voice actress in France, including as Madame Medusa in Bernard and Bianca and as Ma Dalton in Lucky Luke as well as the voice of Julie Andrews in Victor / Victoria and as Dora in Das Schloss im Himmel .
