Peter Franklin Hansen (born December 5, 1921 in Oakland , California - † April 9, 2017 in Santa Clarita , California) was an American actor .

Life

Career

Peter Hansen made his acting debut at the age of 13 in the Netherlands . But after his first film, he decided to study design and architecture .

He only returned to film in 1950. He starred alongside Alan Ladd in The Brand . Numerous film and television productions followed, until he finally took over the role of lawyer Lee Baldwin in the US soap General Hospital in 1965 . He played the character regularly until 1986, until 2004 he made sporadic guest appearances in this role. In 1979 the artist was awarded an Emmy for this.

During World War II , Peter Hansen served in the United States Marine Corps as a naval aviation pilot.

Private life

Peter Hansen was married to Florence Elizabeth from 1943 until her death in 1993. The couple had three children and lived in California.
