Peter Pucelj (born December 6, 1982 in Kranj ) is a former Slovenian handball player .

Career

Peter Pucelj first played for the Slovenian club Prevent Slovenj Gradec and then until 2011 in Bosnia and Herzegovina for RK Bosna Sarajevo . For the 2011/12 season, the 1.93 meter tall cyclist moved to Serbia to RK Red Star Belgrade , which he left during the current season and joined Gorenje Velenje , with whom he won the Slovenian championship in 2012 and 2013. From August 2013 Pucelj was under contract with the German Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach , which he left prematurely in April 2014. In October 2014 he joined the Danish first division club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg . With Bjerringbro-Silkeborg he won the championship in 2016. Then he ended his career.

Pucelj took part with the Slovenian national team at the European Championship 2012 in Serbia and at the World Championship 2013 in Spain , where the team reached 4th place.
