Petr Hradecký (born June 5, 1985 in Vrchlabí ) is a former Czech biathlete .

Petr Hradecký lives and trains in Jilemnice and starts for the SKP Jablonec . The sports teacher is trained by Vlastimil Vávra Senior. He first took part in the Biathlon Junior World Championships in Ridnaun in 2002 and finished 66th in the individual and tenth with the Czech relay. In 2003 the Junior World Championships followed in Kościelisko with places 26 in the individual and 24 in the sprint, in 2004 in Haute-Maurienne the ranks were 42 in the individual, 20 in the sprint, 14 in the pursuit and seven in the relay. In Minsk he took part in the Junior Biathlon European Championships shortly afterwardsin which he finished 23rd in the individual, 26th in the sprint, 28th in the pursuit and fifth in the relay. In 2005, the Junior European Championships were first held in Novosibirsk . Hradecký finished 13th in the individual, seven in the sprint, five in the pursuit and missed a medal with the Czech relay by just one place as fourth. This was followed by the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti , where the Czech was 41st in the individual, 28th in the sprint, 27th in the pursuit and fifth in the relay. For the last time Hradecký took part in 2006 in Presque Isle in Junior World Championships. It would be his most successful international junior championships. In the sprint he won the gold medal, in the pursuit as well as in the individual the bronze medals. Only with the relay did he miss a medal in eighth place. The junior European championships held shortly afterwards in Langdorf were less successful , in which the Czech ran in 14th place in the sprint in the pursuit 19th and fifth in the relay. The last major event among the juniors was the 2006 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Ufa . Hradecký competed in both cross-country and roller ski races . In the cross he took 18th place in the sprint, but did not take part in the pursuit race. On roller skis, he narrowly missed a medal twice in the mixed relay race and in the sprint, which he won in third place in the pursuit race.

Since the 2006/07 season , Hradecký also started in the IBU Cup . At the start of the season, he contested his first races in sprint races in Obertilliach . He finished the first in 63rd place, and in his second sprint he won first points in 29th place. He also made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup towards the end of the season . There he contested his first race in Pokljuka in a sprint and was 81st. The best result in the World Cup so far is a 74th place, which he took in 2008 in Khanty-Mansiysk in a sprint. The Czech achieved his best results in the European Cup / IBU Cup in 2007 with two fourth places in a sprint and a pursuit race in Bansko . In Bansko, Hradecký took part in the Biathlon European Championships 2007 for the first time in international championships for men in the performance area. After a 42nd place in the sprint, he was 33rd in the pursuit race and sixth in the relay competition with Tomáš Holubec , Aleš Lejsek and Jaroslav Soukup . In 2008 he took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute Maurienne. Hradecký reached 24th place in the sprint and 29th in the pursuit in the roller ski competitions. The following year he again took part in the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In Russia, the Czech finished 23rd in the individual, 39th in the sprint and 29th in the pursuit race.
