Petra Wede

Petra Wede (* 1969 in Bad Segeberg , Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German radio presenter and Low German author .

Life

Petra Wede grew up in Seedorf in the Segeberg district . After graduating from high school , she trained as a bank clerk and then works in this profession.

Wede, who has been telling Low German since she was 15, also worked for three and a half years at NDR 1 Welle Nord , where she made a name for herself as an author and presenter in the series Hör mal 'n prayen to . Some of her Low German short stories and glosses have appeared in various anthologies . From 2006 to 2017, she also volunteered to teach third graders in the Low German language at Schlamersdorfer Elementary School . Furthermore, she was, together with Christa Heise-Batt , editor of the from the writer Bernhard Koch in Halstenbekpublished magazine Dat Blatt op Platt and is a co-designer of Low German church services .

Petra Wede lives in the Hornsmühlen district of Seedorf.
