Ilka Brüggemann

Ilka Brüggemann (* 1968 in Lüneburg , Lower Saxony ) is a German journalist , radio presenter and Low German author .

Life

Brüggemann grew up in Amelinghausen in the Lüneburg Heath . In addition to High German , Low German was also spoken there. After graduating from high school , she studied English and political science in Hanover and Marburg .

After her first journalistic experience, she began her career at the radio station NDR 1 Lower Saxony , initially as a “mad reporter”. Then she became an editor and took over the Low German editorial team . Today she moderates various magazine formats and Low German programs, such as the series Hör mal 'n prayen to since 2010 .

Brüggemann also completed her doctorate in political science. She has also published books with Low German short stories and glosses and gives public readings all over northern Germany .

Ilka Brüggemann lives in Hanover, is married and has two children.
