Petros Molyviatis
Petros Molyviatis ( Greek Πέτρος Μολυβιάτης , born June 12, 1928 in Chios ) is a Greek politician .
Life
He completed his law studies at the University of Athens and then worked as a diplomat at the permanent representations of Greece to the UN and NATO as well as at the embassies in Moscow , Ankara and Pretoria .
From 1974 to 1980 he worked as an office manager for the Greek Prime Minister Konstantinos Karamanlis .
1980–1985 and 1990–1995 he was head of the presidential office under President Konstantinos Karamanlis.
From 1996 to 2004 he was a member of the Greek Parliament as a member of the Nea Dimokratia and was a member of the parliamentary committees for defense and foreign affairs.
From March 10, 2004 to February 14, 2006, Petros Molyviatis was Foreign Minister in the Kostas Karamanlis cabinet . From May 17 to June 21, 2012 he held this office again as a member of the Pikrammenos interim government ; The now 87-year-old was also a member of the interim government of Prime Minister Vasiliki Thanou-Christofilou , in office since August 28, 2015, as Foreign Minister.
