The parish church of St. Markus is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Heinz-Nittel-Hof at Marco-Polo-Platz 8 in the Großjedlersdorf district of the 21st  Viennese district of Floridsdorf . The parish is located in the city Deanery 21 of the Vienna Archdiocese belonging city Vicariate Vienna . It is the holy Markus ordained .

architecture

The church was built as part of the "Heinz-Nittel-Hof" community building and consecrated in May 1983. The planning of the community building with approx. The architectural office Harry Glück & Partner owned 1400 residential units and the church . The interior design of the church was planned by the architect Werner Höfer . The church is a simple octagonal structure , which, however, as part of the architecture of the Heinz-Nittel-Hof, is not noticeable at first glance. A weekday chapel and sacristy as well as ancillary rooms surround the church, which is the beginning of a housing block.
