Building description

Outside

The core Gothic nave with gabled roof and a surrounding Kaff- and Traufgesims is provided in the north and south by two and in the west with a buttress. These piers with water hammer are placed over a corner and have curved pointed gables and pent roofs . The pointed arch windows of the nave are in deep reveals . In front of this gable wall is the tower with a square floor plan, which is divided into two storeys by cornices. A rectangular portal on the west side of the tower forms the second access to the church. Above it is a flat gable supported by volutes , followed by a rectangular window and an oculus . The sound floor has arched windows. The tower has a pyramid helmet with integrated clock gables, which is crowned by a tower ball and a cross. Access to the tower is made through an octagonal stair tower with a pyramid roof attached to the north side.

The low, late Gothic recessed choir dates from the 15th century. Four buttresses in the east and one in the south are equipped with water hammer, desk slopes and pent roofs. There is a pointed arch window on the south and north side of the choir. On the north side is a low sacristy extension from the 15th century.
