Philip Tanui

Philip Tanui (born December 20, 1975 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

At the World Half Marathon Championships in Palma in 1996 , he came in 46th. In 1998 he won the Maratonina del Garda. The following year he won the Rome Marathon and came fourth in the Eindhoven Marathon . In 2000 he finished tenth in Rome, third in the Rock 'n' Roll marathon , won the Monaco marathon and came fourth in the Milan marathon . In 2001 he finished eighth in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon.

In 2003 he finished fourth in the Marseille Marathon and third in the Honolulu Marathon , and in 2004 he won the Maratona d'Europa and the Singapore Marathons . In 2007 he finished fifth in the Country Music Marathon .
