Philipp Basener

Philipp Basener (* 1988 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor .

Life

Basener gained his first gaming experience at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , a. a. in productions by Jan Klata , Franziska Steiof and Hermann Schmidt-Rahmer . At the same time he played and staged in the independent theater scene in Düsseldorf and Kassel . From 2012 to 2016 Philipp Basener studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . During his studies he worked at the Münchner Kammerspiele a . a. with the directors Jorinde Dröse , Matthias Günther and Boris Niktin and was in You messed up my pan, you see the fried egg of terror by René Pollesch . He regularly worked with Ersan Mondtag and the KAPITÆL ZWEI KOLEKTIF in Munich clubs and in urban space: in 2015 in Party # 4 - NSU, a 4-hour performance that took up the minutes of the NSU trial in Munich. In the same year, the piece development of his year received Glow! Box BRD (director: Jorinde Dröse) an ensemble award and two solo awards at the Theatertreffen German-speaking drama students in Bochum.

Before studying acting, Philipp Basener and his collective developed short films and video works that were exhibited or shown at festivals. His short film Days with Washing Machines with Meelah Adams won awards at several short film festivals in 2008 .

He started his first permanent engagement in the 2016/17 season at the Theater Bonn .

Philipp Basener also works as an audio book speaker.
