Philipp Heinrich Hellermann

Philipp Heinrich Hellermann (born September 3, 1728 in Meisenheim , † June 6, 1806 in Meisenheim) was a German builder of the late baroque and classicism .

Life

Initially active as a winery adjunct from 1754, Hellermann became a master builder in the Palatinate-Zweibrücken service in 1760 . In 1765 he was appointed director of agriculture by Christian IV of Pfalz-Zweibrücken , and he was also given responsibility for the "management of the roads and roads" in the duchy. In 1776 he switched to the service of the Wild and Rhine Counts in Kirn.

As agricultural director in the Duchy of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, he was responsible for all state-owned building measures. One focus of his activity was the renovation and construction of Reformed churches, for which he also developed type buildings . The churches designed by Hellermann include:
