Philippe Clerc
Philippe Clerc (born December 24, 1946 in Port-Valais ) is a former Swiss athlete specializing in the sprint . After winning the European title in the 200-meter run , he was voted Swiss athlete of the year in 1969. Clerc started for Stade Lausanne and married the British athlete Janet Simpson (1944-2010).
