The Pinatar Cup for women's national football teams took place between March 4th and 10th, 2020 in the Spanish city ​​of San Pedro del Pinatar . It was the first edition and took place parallel to several traditional tournaments, e.g. B. the Algarve Cup 2020 . The venue was the Pinatar Arena. No team from the top 10 of the FIFA world rankings participated. The best-placed team was Iceland (15th place). Other participants were Scotland (22), Ukraine (27) and Northern Ireland (56). For the four teams, the tournament also serves as preparation for the qualification for the EM 2021 , which will continue in April . The Scottish team won a tournament for the first time.
