Plankendorp is a small street village in the area of the municipality of Noord-Beveland in the Dutch province of Zeeland . The Plankendorp belonging to the village of Kamperland consists of a high row of houses on the south side of the Stekeldijk ( German Stacheldeich ), which consists of about 10 dyke houses. There are also some farms that are located below the north side of the dike in the Kamperland polder . The names of the individual farms below the Stekeldijk are (from west to east ): Weltevreden , Weligart , Camperhoeve , Oud-Campen and Lindenhoeve .
The Stekeldijk, along which Plankendorp essentially extends, was built in 1658 when the Kamperlandpolder was diked .
