Plotha is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the district of North Saxony in Saxony .

The former estate is located south of the Liebersee , on the western edge of the Elbe dyke and east of the federal highway 182, southeast of Belgern.

Plotha manor

The oldest mention of the place as Plote is from 1251. 1285 was from a manor house of a manor , Edelhofs, Vorwerk reported and again the manor. In 1791 the village was then called Plotha . Of 18 people living there, 1551 was reported. In 1818 there were 101 residents and in 1895 112. These parishes after Belgians.
