Döbeltitz is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the district of Northern Saxony in Saxony .

The Gassendorf Döbeltitz is located northwest of Belgern off the federal highway 182 on the edge of the western Elbe meadows on this side of the Elbe across from Köllitsch . The district has 433 hectares in a basement .

history

In 1314 the village was first mentioned as Dewelicz . With a few minor changes until 1791, the village was then written as Döbeltitz as it is today. In 1551 40 people lived in the developing village, by 1946 the number of inhabitants had risen to 263. These people parish to Belgians. From 1378 the place belonged to the Torgau office , from 1816 to the Torgau district . The fields of the district belonged to the Döbeltitz manor until 1551, then to the Oelzschau manor until it was dissolved .

On July 1, 1950 Döbeltitz was incorporated into Mahitzschen. On January 1, 1993, it was incorporated into Belgern, which has belonged to Belgern-Schildau since January 1, 2013.
