Neußen is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the district of Northern Saxony in Saxony .

Neußen is located southeast of Belgern and can be reached via State Road 30. The district is bounded by forests of the Dahlener Heide north and west.
history
Neußen was first mentioned in 1004 as nisani . Henry II pulled ships together in the Elbe harbor as a diversionary maneuver in his campaign against Bohemia . The street village was named with the place name Nisene in 1251.
1387 transferred Mgf. Wilhelm von Meißen gave the monastery Buch the village of Nizsen with both courts and the church fief , abandoned by Christofel von Maltitz on Cavertitz. Furthermore, his nephew Hans von Korbicz renounces the church loan at Nysen . Finally there is the actual sales deed from Nysen with the confirmation of the payment of 180 shock groschen and the assurance of the merchandise and naming of the sources. The sale is confirmed several times. In 1551 Neußen belonged to the Torgau Office.
Neußen was run under its current name as early as 1768. The superordinate authority had been in Torgau since 1529. The Gewannflur, which was cultivated by farmers, comprised 679 hectares.
