Kobershain is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the district of North Saxony in Saxony .

location

Kobershain is located west of the Gneisenau town of Schildau and also west of the town of Belgern on the north-western edge of the Dahlener Heide . The main road 23 detected via local roads connecting the space moderate traffic.

history

In 1205 the village was named Kobirshagen . The name differences are insignificant from the current name. The parish church in the village was reported as early as 1500 . From 1551 the responsible higher authority was in Torgau . From 1606 in the street village with 730 hectares in a corridor with a manor , managed by the local nobility, reported. There were 212 people in the village in 1818 and 466 in 1990.

The village was incorporated into Schildau on January 1, 1999, and with this incorporated into Belgern-Schildau on January 1, 2013.
