Kaisa is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the district of Northern Saxony in Saxony .

Kaisa is located south of Belgern. The district borders on the Dahlener Heide to the west and south . The street village is located in the middle of a nature reserve . The district road 8919 covers the district in terms of traffic.

history

Kaisa was first mentioned in 1540 as Kosa - Old Sorbian koza. The agricultural place has 354 hectares of land. The place name developed from 1540 via Kosa and Kaysa to Kaisa - the current spelling. Until 1529 the residents were parish in Neußen , then Kaisa received its own parish church . The official administration had its seat first in the office Mühlberg , then from 1816 in the district of Torgau and its successors.

On July 1, 1950, Kaisa was incorporated into Lausa. On January 1, 1999, it was incorporated into Belgern, which has belonged to Belgern-Schildau since January 1, 2013.
