Pom Klementieff (born May 3, 1986 in Québec , Canada ) is a French actress.

biography

Pom Klementieff is the daughter of a Korean mother and a father of French and Russian roots. Klementieff initially lived in Quebec for a year, after which she moved with her family to Kyoto and the Ivory Coast . Eventually they settled near Paris .

At 19, Klementieff began acting on the Cours Florent in Paris . Today she lives in Los Angeles .

Klementieff initially embodied smaller roles. In The Day That Changed Everything (2007) by director Gaël Morel , she played the stepdaughter of the protagonist Catherine Deneuve . She had her first leading role in the French film Loup (2009, director: Nicolas Vanier ). In 2013 she made her Hollywood debut in Spike Lee's film Oldboy . In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy , she took on the role of the Mantis, which she played again in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame in 2018 and 2019 .
