The Pommelheide was a valley floor between Upper and Lower Lusatia , it extended around the villages of Zschornegosda (today: Schwarzheide -West), Bockwitz (today: Lauchhammer-Ost), Costebrau-Friedrichsthal and Römerkeller (former districts of Kostebrau ).
