Pommiers-la-Placette is a former French commune least 554 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was part of the arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Voiron .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Pommiers-la-Placette and Saint-Julien-de-Raz were merged to form Commune nouvelle La Sure en Chartreuse .

geography

Pommiers-la-Placette is about 16 kilometers north-north-west of Grenoble . Pommiers-la-Placette is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Saint-Julien-de-Raz in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse in the east, Proveysieux in the south-east, Mont-Saint-Martin in the south, Voreppe in the south and south-west and La Buisse in the West.
