As early as 1997, a singing group called Premier Ministr ( Russian Премьер-министр ) was formed. Her first success was the Oriental Song from 2000, which remixed a Russian folk song . You have been selected to represent your country in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest . For this they changed their name to Prime Minister . With their title Northern Girl they reached the 10th place.
In 2005 the singers separated and their producer formed a new boy group with the same name.
