The Primera División 1936 was the 6 . Playing time of the Argentine football league Primera División . The season was divided into two championships, roughly comparable to the Apertura-Clausura system often practiced in South America today, two champions were determined, who then determined the Argentine champions 1936 in a national final among themselves. CA River Plate finished the season as champions and succeeded the Boca Juniors .

The Copa de Oro, quasi the final of the Argentine soccer championship 1936, which took place between the winner of the Copa de Honor, CA San Lorenzo de Almagro, and the winner of the Copa Campeonato, CA River Plate, was held on December 20, 1936 in the stadium of CA Independiente, the Estadio Almirante Cordero .
