The 1957 Primera División was 27 . Playing time of the Argentine football league Primera División . The season began on May 5, 1957. The last game day was December 11, 1957. Club Atlético Atlanta from the Primera B Nacional was promoted to it. CA River Plate finished the season as champions and was able to repeat its previous year's triumph. Ferro Carril Oeste had to relegate to the Primera B Nacional .
