The 1963 Primera División was 33 . Playing time of the Argentine football league Primera División . The season began on April 28, 1963. The last game day was November 24, 1963. As a promoted CA Banfield came from the Primera B Nacional . CA Independiente finished the season as champions and succeeded the Boca Juniors . They qualified for the Copa Libertadores 1964 , which was ultimately won. This time nobody had to relegate to Primera B Nacional, as the league was increased by two teams for the following season.
