The 1917/18 season was the 16th season of the soccer league introduced in Mexico, which initially operated under the name Primera Fuerza .

Season course

The season began with a total of seven teams, of which Club España and FV Germania withdrew prematurely from the league, so that all games played by these two teams were subsequently canceled and not included in the rating. The original season opening game took place on October 14, 1917 between Club México and Club España, ended 1: 1 and was later canceled due to the withdrawal of the Españistas , so that the game played a week later on October 21, 1917 between Club América and the Junior Club (0: 1) in retrospect was considered the official season opening game. The last meeting of the season took place on March 10, 1918 between Club México and Club América (4: 1).
