criticism

“The elements of an allegorically coded commentary on the current situation of the Catholic Church, which are recognizable in the beginning, are not consistently worked out, instead the dramaturgically and thematically immature film remains stuck in crass comic types and cheap gags. The considerable technical level, especially of the camera work, cannot suppress the negative overall picture. "

"Fun, even if the last bite is missing."

"Anyone who does not want to lose their faith in the immaculate conception is strongly advised not to take the 'test drive to paradise'."

"Wolfsperger has succeeded in one of the best German comedies in recent years."

"The road movie has that entertaining power that is inherent in societies devouring each other behind closed doors."

Awards

  • Golden film reel from the municipal cinema “d'Linse”, Weingarten
