Przysietnica is a village with a Schulzenamt of the municipality of Stary Sącz in the powiat Nowosądecki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship , Poland .

geography

The place is located on the Przysietnicki Potok ( brook ) under the Sandezer Beskids ( Beskid Sądecki ).

The neighboring towns are Skrudzina in the north-west, Moszczenica Wyżna in the north, Barcice Górne in the east, Rytro in the south-east.

history

The place was probably first mentioned in 1280 as Presecznica . He originally belonged to the Poor Clares in Stary Sącz , and since the 14th century he has belonged to the Starostei in Bartnice .

Habsburg troops occupied the village as early as 1770 and it was annexed to the Kingdom of Hungary . After the first partition of Poland , Barcice became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire (from 1804).

In 1900 the village had 981 inhabitants, all of them Polish-speaking and Roman Catholic.

In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Przysietnica came to Poland. This was interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II , during which it belonged to the Generalgouvernement .

From 1975 to 1998 Przysietnica was part of the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
