Pulitzer Prize / Public Service
The category service to the public of the Pulitzer Prize it (Pulitzer Prize for Public Service) existed since 1917. She is the winner also received a gold medal awarded the most prestigious of all Pulitzer Prize categories. In 1917, 1920, 1925 and 1930 it was not awarded. The prize pool is $ 15,000 ($ 10,000 through 2016).
