Qitaihe
Qitaihe ( Chinese 七台河 市 , Pinyin Qītáihé Shì ) is a district-free city in the Chinese province of Heilongjiang , which belongs to northeast China.
Qitaihe there are coal mines and a steam railway . Another coal mining town in the province is Hegang .
The administrative area of the city of Qitaihe has an area of 6,223 km² and approx. 868,000 inhabitants (2015).
Administrative structure
At the county level, Qitaihe is made up of three districts and one district. These are:
- District Taoshan (桃山区) square kilometers 74, 160,000;
- Xinxing District (新兴 区), 123 km², 200,000 inhabitants;
- Qiezihe district (茄子 河 区), 1,560 km², 140,000 inhabitants;
- Boli district (勃利县), 4,466 km², 370,000 inhabitants, main town: Boli municipality (勃利 镇).
