Quesnel Alphonse

Quesnel Alphonse SMM (born December 1, 1949 in Port-au-Prince , Haiti ) is Bishop of Fort-Liberté .

Life

Quesnel Alphonse joined the Congregation of Montfortains at and received on 16 July 1977, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He was director of the educational center Domus Mariae in Cap-Haïtien and pastor of several parishes supervised by the Montfortans, most recently the parish of Saint-Louis Roi de France in Port-au-Prince.

On November 10, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Dionysiana and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Port-au-Prince . The Archbishop of Port-au-Prince, Guire Poulard , donated him episcopal ordination on December 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Port-de-Paix , François Colímon SMM, and the bishop of Les Cayes , Chibly Langlois .

On October 25, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Fort-Liberté . The inauguration took place on December 13 of the same year.
