Reginald Duprat

Réginald Duprat OP (born August 28, 1877 in Beauharnois , Québec , † February 13, 1954 ) was a Canadian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Prince Albert .

Life

Réginald Duprat joined the religious order of the Dominicans at and received on 14 February 1904, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 17, 1938, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Prince Albert. The Archbishop of Regina , Peter Joseph Monahan , donated him episcopal ordination on May 31 of the same year ; Co-consecrators the Bishop of goods Alexandria in Ontario , Félix Couturier OP and the Bishop of Saskatoon , Gerald Murray CSsR .

Pope Pius XII accepted on June 29, 1952 the resignation put forward by Réginald Duprat and appointed him titular bishop of Tremithus .
