Rémy-Louis Leprêtre OFM (born August 28, 1878 in Le Portel , France , † January 10, 1961 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Remy-Louis Leprêtre joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 25 July 1903, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 18, 1936, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Rhusium and ordered him to apostolic delegate in Syria . The Apostolic Nuncio in France, Cardinal Luigi Maglione , donated him episcopal ordination on May 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Delegate in Indochina , Archbishop Victor Colomban Dreyer, OFM, and the Bishop of Arras , Henri-Edouard Dutoit .

Rémy-Louis Leprêtre resigned as Apostolic Delegate in Syria on May 7, 1947.
