The RŽD series 2ЭС4К (German transcription 2ES4K ) of the Russian Railways (RŽD) is a series of eight-axle electric locomotives in two sections for the operation of freight trains on main roads with direct current . In the mechanical part, they were carried out unified with the 2ЭС5К . They were built by the Novocherkassk electric locomotive factory from 2006 onwards and are replacements for the outdated ВЛ10 and ВЛ11 . In operational service, they were given the nickname Donchak .
history
Since the locomotives of the series ВЛ10 and ВЛ11 were outdated morally in the time of the millennium (the majority of locomotives required to run at this time of approval of the extension of the use Termines), a replacement for the operation of which was with this series of Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant created . This electric locomotive is intended for use in front of freight trains on railways with a gauge of 1,520 mm, electrified with 3 kV direct current . In addition to the RŽD, the locomotives were also supplied to other consumers in Russia and other state railways in the CIS .
Likewise, this series also benefits the decision was made ВЛ10 and ВЛ11 in passenger train service to replace that on the sections goryachy klyuch - Adler and Weloretschenskaja - Eagle of the North Caucasus Railway were used.
Special feature of the construction
The electric locomotive consists of two sections. Each section has a driver's cab with the administration and a set of equipment. This makes it possible to work as one electric locomotive and as a unit of two electric locomotives (2 × 2ЭС4К ) via the multiple control system . In addition, there is currently a locomotive with a central section without a driver's cab , which is run as a group of three sections as 3ЭС4К .
The electrical equipment of the locomotive ensures stable work during pulling work, the electrodynamic brake ( resistance brake and recuperation brake ) and when coasting. The work in the traction system and with the brakes is supplied with independent excitation when fed by a static converter. The speed is regulated in stages with three groups of traction motors: series connection , series connection and parallel connection .
The mechanical part of the locomotive is unified with that of the freight locomotive 2ЭС5К . The vehicle part of the locomotive meets all the requirements of contemporary design; the bogies are connected to the locomotive body with the usual suspensions (in a vertical and transverse direction with the help of elastic and damping elements). The primary suspension of the locomotive is realized with a coil spring suspension, the secondary suspension is done with Flexicoil coil springs .
In the case of the electric locomotive, DC traction motors were still used for the traction drive motors ; Three-phase motors are only intended for the auxiliary machines; for driving the fans for cooling the traction motors, the compressor drive and the supply of the static converter. The productivity of the fan cooling is regulated depending on the load on the traction drive motors.
The nominal height of the electric locomotive is 5,050 mm from the top of the rails to the grinding elements of the pantographs, the height from the top of the rails to the axis of the automatic central buffer coupling is 1,060 mm. The nominal voltage in the chain of management is 110 V.
Control of the locomotive
The locomotive is equipped with a microprocessor management system called МСУД-001 ( MSUD-001 ). It was drawn up by the ЗАО Локомотивные Электронные Системы ( SAO Locomotive Electronic Systems ) and ensures;
- manual and automatic control of movement;
- the control of the automatic guidance of the train;
- Diagnosis of parameters of movement and work of equipment of the electric locomotive.
A safety driving circuit for the control of the vigilance of the train driver with the designation ТСКБМ ( TSKBM ) is provided. Air conditioning , compressed air heating, cooling systems and sanitary facilities (washroom, toilet) are available in the driver's cab to ensure that the driver's work is comfortable .
Additional systems for monitoring train drivers
In addition to the above-mentioned safety driving circuit, the locomotive is equipped with complex devices to ensure safety with the designation КЛУБ-У ( KLUB-U ) and systems of automatic brake management of the train with the designation САУТ-ЦМ / 485 ( SAUT-ZM / 485 ) and also equipped with systems to control the non-automatic disconnection of certain electrical devices.
Operation of the electric locomotive
As of May 2017, 188 locomotives have been delivered so far, 141 2ЭС4К and 47 3ЭС4К . The 2ЭС4К.015 was delivered to the Novocherkassk electric locomotive factory specifically for operation in the Ukraine ; since delivery it has had a driver's cab based on the ЭП1M system . It received the Krasnyj Lyman depot of the Donetska Salisnyzja to operate .
The locomotives with the inventory numbers 001-014 and 016-035 were given to the Volkhov depot of the October Railway , the locomotives with the inventory numbers 036-117 and 121-141 were given to the Severo-Kawkasskaya schelesnaja doroga and placed in the Tuapse depot , three electric locomotives (with inventory numbers 118, 119, 120 ) belong to the transport company ООО Трансойл ( OOO Transoil ), six electric locomotives (with inventory numbers 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78 ) belong to private operators and are used for leasing in the Tuapse depot .
