The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship is a wrestling title for wrestlers from Ring of Honor (ROH), in teams of three in six-man tag team matches start. As is common in wrestling, the award is based on a previously determined storyline .
history
The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship was introduced on December 2, 2016, after having been fought in a tournament in which a total of eight teams took part. In this, the two teams The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) as well as Jay White, KUSHIDA and Lio Rush penetrated the finals of the ROH Final Battle 2016 , which the former won and thus became the first to take the title.
Current title holders
The current titleholders are the members of the Mexa Squad , which consists of the three Luchadores Bandido, Flamita & Rey Horus , in their first joint reign as a team. They defeated previous titleholders Villain Enterprises , consisting of Brody King, Marty Scurll and PCO, at Saturday Night at Center Stage on January 11, 2020 in Atlanta , Georgia . Since PCO had to defend his ROH World Championship on the same evening , he was replaced by Flip Gordon at the match .
