Its northern slope falls into the Rabensteinpforte , in which the Eder flows from the Ederseetrog subunit (344.4) to the east into the Wegaer Ederaue (341.51) natural area, which runs past the mountain to the north , and in the main unit Ostwaldecker Randsenken (341) to the Wildunger subunit Sink (341.5) counts. To the west, the landscape of the mountain leads north past the Kumpeskopf into the subunit Große Hardt (344.3). To the east it falls over the Wolfskaute into the Wildehügelland (341.52) natural area belonging to the Wildunger Depression.
