Rackith is a district of the city of Kemberg in the district of Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt .

Rackith is about 12 km southeast of Lutherstadt Wittenberg .
history
Rackith was first mentioned in a document in 1004. The later manor developed from a Burgward attested as early as the 11th century .
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipalities of Bietegast and Lammsdorf were incorporated as districts.
On January 1, 2010 the previously independent municipality of Rackith was incorporated into the city of Kemberg together with the municipalities of Dabrun , Eutzsch , Radis , Rotta , Schleesen , Selbitz , Uthausen and Wartenburg . At the same time, the administrative community Kemberg , to which Rackith belonged, was dissolved.

- Graves in the cemetery of the district of Lammsdorf for a Polish woman known by name and an unknown Romanian who were abducted to Germany during the Second World War and were victims of forced labor here.

The federal highway 182 , which connects Wittenberg and Torgau , leads directly past the district.
The single- track Pratau – Torgau railway line with the Rackith (Elbe) and Rackith Süd stops has been closed since 2014. In the summer of 2016 and 2017, passenger trains from the Heide-Bahn to Eilenburg again ran on the route on weekends .
