The Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG was a cooperative bank based in Bad Tolz in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .
history
On May 25, 1908, 46 members founded the “Thanning Loan Association” in Thanning based on the principles of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen . In 1913 the first own warehouse was built. The first economy week was organized in 1930. The opening of a branch in Egling took place on October 15, 1963 “at the Weindl”. Three years later, the association merged with the neighboring Raiffeisenbank Ergertshausen-Neufahrn and a new warehouse with a grain silo and grain drying facility was built in Thanning. In 1967 the warehouse was expanded to be able to offer coal and building materials. In the same year the Raiffeisenbank Deining was incorporated by merger. In 1968 the offices in the bank building in Thanning were converted.
In 1971 it was decided to build a new bank building in Egling. This was to be officially opened a year later. Raiffeisen Versicherungsdienst Thanning GmbH was founded on January 1, 1978. In 1979, Raiffeisenbank Ascholding eG was merged. Construction of the new office building in Thanning began in 1982 and was completed in the same year. The Egling branch was rebuilt and modernized in November 1985.
On October 27, 1994, the merger meeting with Raiffeisenbank Dietramszell eG took place in Thanning. The merger then took place in 1995 under the name Raiffeisenbank Dietramszell-Thanning eG.
Further mergers with Raiffeisenbank Endlhausen and Raiffeisenbank Gaißach followed in May and November 2000. In the same year, construction work began on the new Raiffeisen construction and goods center in Öhnböck. In June 2006 the new main office on the Flinthöhe in Bad Tölz was completed. With the move to Bad Tölz, the company name was changed from Raiffeisenbank Dietramszell-Thanning eG to Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG. The headquarters of the cooperative was relocated from Thanning to Bad Tölz. On May 27, 2008, the general meeting of Raiffeisenbank im Isarwinkel and on June 2, 2008 the meeting of representatives of Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land resolved to merge the two banks. The Ascholding branch was rebuilt in 2009.
In autumn 2010, the energetic renovation and the renovation of the interior of the Dietramszell office was completed. In 2011, work began on the new Raiffeisen construction and goods center in Lenggries. In the meeting of representatives in 2012 it was decided to integrate the Raiffeisen insurance service Tölzer Land GmbH into the bank. In July 2015, construction work began on the Egling branch.
Merger of Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG with Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG
On February 9, 2017, Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG and Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG announced their intention to merge the two banks. The common name will continue to be Raiffeisenbank im Oberland in relation to the region and the location. The representative assemblies of the two houses approved the merger with the required majority.
Business alignment
Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land eG acted as a universal bank. In addition to banking services, Raiffeisenbank Tölzer Land also operated three Raiffeisen construction and goods centers. The main branches of business here were the trade in building materials and elements, hardware store items and agricultural inputs or feed.
The locations were in Thanning (Egling) / Öhnböck, Lenggries and Warngau .
Business operations will be continued by Raiffeisenbank im Oberland after the merger in 2017.
