history

Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG was created in 2006 through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Miesbach eG and the previously existing Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG, which was then headquartered in Reichersbeuern (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district).

History of the former Raiffeisenbank Miesbach eG

On May 1, 1963, the Raiffeisenkasse Warngau , which is considered the “original cell” of Raiffeisenbank Miesbach and today's Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG, was expanded from a one-man business to a “two-man business”. The main tasks were the administration of money deposits and the granting of loans as well as the common purchase of goods on favorable terms. With the aim of opening a Raiffeisen bank in Miesbach, Raiffeisenkasse Warngau took over Raiffeisenkasse Wall and in 1967 Raiffeisenkasse Hartpenning . As a result, the branch in Miesbach was opened on January 8, 1969.

In 1970 the Raiffeisenkasse Warngau and the Raiffeisenkassen Valley , Neukirchen, Irschenberg and Niklasreuth merged and the Raiffeisenbank Miesbach eGmbH was created.

The previously independent Raiffeisenbank Fischbachau with its Hundham branch merged on July 19, 1989 with Raiffeisenbank Miesbach eG.

On April 24, 1904, the Waakirchen - Schaftlach loan association was founded. In 1958 a paying office was opened in Schaftlach and in 1966 in Marienstein.

In 1970 the Raiffeisenkasse Sachsenkam joined and the bank was called Raiffeisenbank Waakirchen-Schaftlach-Sachsenkam eGmbH from then on.

The Reichersbeuer Loan Association was founded on November 27, 1892.

In 1996 the merger between the Raiffeisenbank Reichersbeuern eG with branches in Greiling and Bad Tölz and the Raiffeisenbank Waakirchen-Schaftlach-Sachsenkam took place and the Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG was created.

Social Commitment

The main task of the Raiffeisenbank im Oberland eG is, according to § 2 of the statutes, to support and support the members.
