Ralf Raddatz

Ralf Raddatz (* 6. October 1958 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German brigadier general of the Air Force of the Armed Forces and since August 2017 , military attaché at the Defense Attaché, London / GBR .

Ralf Raddatz joined the German Armed Forces on July 1, 1979 and was trained as an officer at the Luftwaffe officer's school in Fürstenfeldbruck until 1982 and then as a weapons system officer and then deployed on the F-4F Phantom at Fighter Bomber Wing 36 "Westfalen" in Hopsten . From 1992 to 1994 he was a squadron captain with Jagdgeschwader 74 in Neuburg an der Donau , before he took part in the 39th General Staff Course of the Air Force at the command academy of the German Armed Forces in Hamburg from 1994 to 1996 .

This was followed by a position as Assistant Executive Officer to the Commander in the HQ AIRCENT in Ramstein until 1998 and as head of the "Exercises and Training" department in the Air Force Command in Cologne-Wahn until 2001. After that Raddatz was for Berlin to Ministry of Defense added, and the duties took the speakers for military use and Political bases exercises in the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces true. From 2009 to 2010 Raddatz was Head of Department 5 in the Air Force Operations Command, after which he took part in the “International Security and Strategic Leadership” course at the Royal College of Defense Studies in London for one year and was once again appointed ministerial in Bonn from 2011 to 2012 as head of the division for “basic matters of flight operations, air traffic control and flight safety” in the air force command staff , then from 2012 to 2014 as head of division of the “specialist military tasks and permanent operations armed forces” division in the armed forces’s command staff .

On January 1st, 2015 Ralf Raddatz became Director JFAC HQ (DEU) at the Air Operations Center in Kalkar, and in the same year he was promoted to Brigadier General. Since August 2017 he has been deployed as a defense attaché in the military attaché staff, London / GBR.
