Ramón Darío Molina Jaramillo OFM (born August 31, 1935 in Envigado , Colombia ; † October 15, 2018 ) was a Colombian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Neiva .

Life

Ramón Darío Molina Jaramillo joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 26 October 1961, the priestly ordination .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 6, 1977 titular bishop of Timici and auxiliary bishop in Bogotá . The Archbishop of Bogotá, Cardinal Aníbal Muñoz Duque , ordained him episcopal on June 29 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Pedro Rubiano Sáenz , Bishop of Cúcuta , and Livio Reginaldo Fischione OFMCap , Vicar Apostolic of Riohacha .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Montería on March 23, 1984 and Bishop of Neiva on January 19, 2001 .

On February 4, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
