Ramport Studios

The Ramport Studios were a recording studio in the London borough of Battersea , which belonged to the band The Who . Some important albums were recorded in the studio, including in 1974 Crime of the Century by the band Supertramp . Parts of the Who album Quadrophenia were also recorded there in 1973. 1978 The Who used the studio partially for the recordings of Who Are You . Eventually Virgin Records bought the studio. Today there is a doctor's practice in the rooms.
