The Rannach (colloquial: Ranne ) is an almost 13 km long left and northwestern tributary of the Aisch . Etymologically, it is probably derived from "rinnen". It is eponymous for the Rangau .

The Rannach has several source streams west of Ergersheim - Ermetzhofen . It flows into the Aisch on the southern edge of Bad Windsheim .
