Rannenberg is one of the 16 districts of the municipality Auetal in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony .

The place is one and a half kilometers south of Rehren and the A 2 .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1332 under the name Randenberghe . On December 1, 1910, the place had 161 inhabitants and belonged to the Rinteln district . On March 1, 1974, Rannenberg was incorporated into the municipality of Rehren and on April 1, 1974 the new municipality was dissolved and assigned to the new municipality of Auetal.
