Raphael Vani Dwamena (born September 12, 1995 in Kwahu Tafo ) is a Ghanaian football player .

Career

society

Dwamena started his career with Red Bull Ghana .

In January 2014 he moved to Austria at AKA Salzburg . He made his professional debut for the farm team FC Liefering on matchday 1 of 2014/15 against TSV Hartberg .

For the 2016/17 season he moved to league competitor SC Austria Lustenau .

In January 2017 he moved to the Swiss second division club FC Zurich , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2020. With Zurich he was promoted to the Super League at the end of the season .

On August 21, 2017, it was confirmed that Dwamena would move to Brighton & Hove Albion in England . However, the striker still lacked a work permit to play in the Premier League in England . On August 25, 2017, it was announced that Dwamena had failed the medical examinations and is therefore not moving to England.

In August 2018 he moved to Spain to the Levante UD , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022.

National team

In December 2016 he was called to a training camp for the Ghanaian national team for the first time .

He made his national team debut in June 2017 when he started the World Cup qualifying game against Ethiopia and scored two goals.
