Biombo is an administrative region in Guinea-Bissau with about 93,000 inhabitants. It is the smallest region in the country after the autonomous capital city sector Bissau . The capital of the region is Quinhamel with around 43,000 inhabitants.

In Creole in Guinea , the region also bears the nickname Tchon di Pépel , "Land of the Papel", referring to the predominant ethnic group of the Pepel (also Papel).
