Regional Air Lines was a Moroccan airline based in Casablanca . It was founded in 1996 as the country's first private airline and began operating in July 1997. There was a code- sharing agreement with Royal Air Maroc . In November 2007, Regional Air Lines and the low-cost airline Air Arabia announced a closer collaboration. In 2009 Regional Air Lines was integrated into the Air Arabia Group as Air Arabia Maroc .

Regional Air Lines served all major domestic airports, including Agadir , Marrakech , Nador , Tangier , Errachidia , Ouarzazate , Tétouan and Oujda, as well as international short-haul destinations to Mauritania ( Nouakchott ), Spain ( Las Palmas , Málaga , Valencia ) and Portugal ( Lisbon ) in a regular service . With the takeover by the Arab low-cost airline Air Arabia , only international destinations to Belgium ( Brussels ), France ( Lyon , Montpellier , Paris CDG ), Italy ( Bologna , Milan - Bergamo , Turin , Venice ), the Netherlands ( Amsterdam ), Spain ( Barcelona ), Tunisia ( Tunis ) and Turkey ( Istanbul Sabiha ) on a scheduled service.
