The Reichenbach is a 16.1 km long right tributary of the Glans in Rhineland-Palatinate .

course
The Reichenbach rises west of Kollweiler on the southeast flank of the Spannagelberg at an altitude of 376 m above sea level. NHN . From here the brook first flows southeast through Kollweiler. Then the brook turns in a wide arc to the southwest, flowing north past the Mühlhöhe . From here on, directed primarily to the northwest, the stream flows through Reichenbach-Steegen , Oberstaufenbach , Niederstaufenbach and the Friedelhausen district of Bosenbach and flows into the Glan on the right opposite Altenglan at an altitude of 196 m .
The Reichenbach is accompanied throughout its entire course by state roads (L 369, L 372, L 367).
On its 16.1 km long path, the Reichenbach experiences a gradient of 180 m, which corresponds to an average bed gradient of 11.2 ‰. It drains a 44.158 km² catchment area .
Tributaries
In its entire course, the Reichenbach receives numerous short tributaries. The most important tributary is the 4.4 km long Bosenbach , whose catchment area is 9.281 km².

The Reichenbach is one of the fine-material, carbonatic low mountain streams. The structure of the water from the upper reaches to Oberstaufenbach has largely or completely changed. Except for the localities, the lower reaches have changed moderately to significantly. The water quality below Reichenbach-Steegen is given as moderately polluted (quality class II) (as of 2005).
